Exposed to the music world at an early age, Judy Weiss began taking piano lessons at only five years old. The singer, who was born in Berlin in 1972, signifi-cantly amplified her skills by stu-dying at a private music school for eight years. In the year 1988, she was accepted into the renowned Berlin music school “Hann Eisler”, where in addition to vocal & dance courses, she took up acting. From this time until she graduated in 1992, she accompanied several German artists to studio produc-tions and concerts, as support.

After graduating, Judy Weiss be-gan to pursue musical theatre. In 1994, she became her first major in “West Side Story”, and amazed once again in “Beauty and the Beast” only a year after. But Judy Weiss’s talent wasn’t bound to the world of theatre. The romantic pop song “Vivo per Lei”, a duet with Andrew Bocelli, of 1996, topped the charts in several European countries. She accompanied the world famous Tenor on his tours.

Through her role as Esmeralda in “The Hunchback of Notre Dame”, Judy Weiss became one the most successful musical performers of Germany. Even though her engagements in Berlin called for much time and effort, Judy Weiss managed to publicize her debut album “Something Real”. With this album she successfully transitioned into pop music. Weiss’s second album “Believe”, which became even more popular than the first, launched September 2001.

In addition to solo concerts and performances with a variety of artists, the singer began to delve into a new project, the “First Friday” club night, which has been taking place since 2004. This monthly Jazz session has become a part of the Berlin culture, as it attracts well-known Jazz interpre-ters from all around. Judy Weiss clearly demonstrates her impressive musical talent, and she is on the way to a great inter-national career.
